The Stratford varsity basketball team lost Tuesday’s home conference game against Cypress Creek by a score of 68-60. Creek battled to the end, ultimately winning one of the closer scoring games of the season, squeezing by with an eight point victory. Throughout the game Creek scored 68 through four, with a total 31 rebounds, and shooting an average 40%. Despite Stratford shooting an average 7% higher, Creek pulled out the win playing great defense to hold off the Spartans, and take the victory.
