Foster The People – “Coming Of Age”

Back at it again, Foster The People just released  “Coming Of Age,” a new single off their soon-to-be-released album “Supermodel”.

It’s nearly three years now since their debut album “Torches”, and eager fans wait for more from Foster The People. Their thirst has been temporarily quenched with “Coming Of Age,” with its deliciously synthed and pop-ish beats, the tune imitates the likes of their first album. Although the song shows potential, it proves insufficient for pop radio to play the track and break Foster The People’s one-hit-wonder title they earned back in 2012 with “Pumped Up Kicks.” Yeah, remember them now?

Fans hope the album “Supermodel,” with a release date of March 18, will fully restore Foster The People in all their glory. The band will reportedly take on a different sound with inspiration from The Kinks, David Bowie, West African music and The Clash. With a three-ish year gap, it wouldn’t shock if their music takes on a different style from their original sound.
