FFA students will be competing in the 19th Annual CFISD Livestock Show and Sale which will be held Jan. 31- Feb. 2 at the CFISD Exhibit Center.

This three-day event will include students from all of CFISD and will offer scholarships up to $3,200 to the winners. Fifty-five students will show animals such as rabbits, turkeys, chickens, lambs, goats, steers and pigs will be entered. Last year, Creek went home with several grand champion steers, reserves and grand champion rabbits.

“We have had some good animals and I think we will place in a lot of categories,” Ag Mechanics and Wildlife teacher Dan Autrey said.

In addition, Autrey said for the second year in a row eight ag mechanic projects will be going to Cy- Fair to be judged. Previously, Creek won four first places out of 22 competitors.
