Athletes sign with college teams

Five seniors signed to receive athletic scholarships with five different colleges today.
Three football players accepted scholarships including Cole Barbe, who signed with Houston Baptist University, Detrick Brown-Hornsby with Henderson State in Arkansas and Nicholas Russel who signed with Mary Hardin Baylor.
Two girl volleyball players signed as well. Ashlynn Caldwell accepted a scholarship at Trinity Valley Community College and Danequa Fielder signed with Southeastern Louisiana University.
The students and their parents had a celebration in the small gym at 3 p.pm.
