Spiders might not be one of your most favorite things to look at, but you have to admit they are very interesting. The most unique facts about spiders makes them fascinating.

 

Swallowing Spiders

During your sleep, you will swallow an average of eight spiders in your lifetime. Scary right? Well since it is never really that common, there should not be anything to worry about. The chances of swallowing a spider are very low.

Egg Power

Female spiders can deliver up to 3000 eggs depending on the species. Instead of killing the spiders, leave them be because they can prevent any other insects from entering your house. Spiders prevent other insects coming into your home by contributing to control pest. Maybe think twice about killing the Motherload.

Leapfrog

Jumping spiders can leap up to 50 times its own length. If that does not scare you, I don’t know what will. When a spider wants to jump, it uses a sudden change of blood pressure to push up forward.

There is believed to be around 40,000 different species of spiders inhabiting this planet. They have been around for millions of years and it seems they aren’t going extinct anytime soon. Fossils have been discovered that date back 318 million years ago.

Poison Spider

The most poisonous species of spiders are the Brazilian Wandering Spiders, also known as Banana Spiders. Humans who get bitten by one need to seek medical attention immediately. They may experience symptoms such as severe burning on the bite, sweating and goosebumps, slow heartbeats and blurred visions.
